“Thank you for a magical day on Weds. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and thought you had structured the day and the way in which the group worked so that we all felt we had learned a great deal. Additionally it was such a pleasure to spend the day in your lovely home. Having been on several cookery courses including the Bertinet one and one run by a tv and radio chef, I can safely say that Weds was the best!! We have already started looking ahead to see if we could sign up for any other ones you are running.

We had a fantastic day in Autumn 2013, when we christened our wood-fired oven. Eve O’Sullivan from the Guardian came along to spend the day with us, and featured our get together in the Guardian Life & Style column.
“I loved the sourdough bread-making workshop Vicky ran at the DO Lectures 2014. I’ve done lots of baking over the years, but never tried this before as I’d imagined it would be complicated and I wouldn’t have the time to get into a regular bread-making routine. However I was amazed by how straightforward it all was and how much fun! Am now a real enthusiast. I have yet to produce a loaf as good as the ones we made in the workshop, but I’ll keep trying!”
